Tax Sale Information

The DeSoto County Tax Collector holds their Tax Sale on the last Monday in August each year. The Tax Collector uses an online bidding platform with the assistance of GovEase. An information sheet is available for those who want to learn more about the process or who want to register as a bidder for the annual sale. The GovEase website provides Help & Training for those new to the process.

Once a parcel is sold at the Tax Sale, the receipt becomes payable in the Chancery Clerk's Delinquent Tax department. You can use our website to view the current amount due for delinquent parcels.

Reports

After the sale is complete, the Tax Collector's office provides a report of the final list of parcels sold at the annual Tax Sale.
